It’s finally done! However, I assume this is going to be a polarizing comic, either going to love it or hate it. For lack of better words, this graphic novel is – GRAPHIC. It contains blood, bruises, swelling, a broken nose or two, brief strangulation, implied blinding, and implied decapitation.
So why the sudden upswing in implied violence? Well, I was trying to do something a little different with this work. The writers who inspired this work (as well as every other writer out there, for that matter) create entire vivid worlds using only words with very minimal illustration. I tried to turn that around and create a story using only illustrations with minimal dialogue. As a result, this comic only has two lines of dialog; the rest is just pictures (and some more detailed information at the end, after the story).
